A Chinese investor will invest US$ 2.5 million for a recreation area project at the “Tashkent Sea” (Tuyaboguz reservoir), the press service of the Tashkent province governor’s office said.
This became known during the meeting of the acting governor of the Tashkent province Davron Khidoyatov with the general director of the Chinese Linyi Investment Group, Chen Min Chi.
At the first stage, US$ 2.5 million will be invested in the project, with about 100 people to be employed.
At the meeting, they also discussed the construction of an ecotourism park on 36 hectares in Kibray district of the Tashkent province. The project is estimated at US$ 1 million.
