Uzbekistan donated 20 ambulance vehicles to Kyrgyzstan during the state visit of President Sadyr Japarov to Tashkent. On March 12, Sadyr Japarov, accompanied by the President of Uzbekistan, visited the Technopark in Tashkent. When inspecting vehicles made in Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that 20 ambulances based on Volkswagen Caddy and Isuzu D-Max were donated to Kyrgyzstan on behalf of the people of Uzbekistan.
Sadyr Japarov said that this gift was a "pleasant surprise" and thanked Shavkat Mirziyoyev. He added that "there can be no problems between the countries" and expressed gratitude for the adherence to "bonds of brotherhood and good-neighborliness, Uzbekistan's constant assistance and support."
