The Ministry of Health has announced that for the first time since the beginning of the year, the number of coronavirus cases in Uzbekistan surpassed 200.
As of April 8, 2021, the number of registered coronavirus infections in Uzbekistan stands at 84,529 (+207).
139 of them were recorded among the tested citizens in Tashkent due to contact with patients with coronavirus.
Currently, 1,480 patients are being treated in medical institutions, of which 229 are in critical condition and 104 are in critical condition.
