The National Anti-Coronavirus Commission takes decision on temporary ban of all public events such as festive mass events, sports competitions, as well as concerts, festivals, theater and film programs, regardless of whether the event is held in an open area or indoors from August 1, the Ministry of Health said.
Sports competitions are allowed to be held without spectators.
Also starting from August 1, on the territory of Uzbekistan, enhanced control over the observance of sanitary and hygienic restrictions during weddings, funerals and other family events is also being introduced, and the number of participants in these events is limited to 50 people.
Since May 1, 2021, concerts and performances in closed halls have been suspended.
