Cool air mass from the Caucasus spread to the northern regions of Uzbekistan yesterday, prompting slight decrease in air temperature, the Uzhydromet said.
Today this air mass process will affect most of the country. Dry and partly cloudy is expected in most parts of the country, apart from Ustyurt in the afternoon, and Tashkent province in the evening, short-term rain and thunderstorms are possible.
The air temperature will be + 35, + 40 degrees, in some places up to +42, in the Surkhandarya rovince + 44, + 46, in the north + 28, + 33 degrees.
Wind speed in some regions of Uzbekistan can reach to 15-20 m/s in some places up to 25-30 m/s with a dust storm.
On weekends, relatively cool air currents will cover the entire territory of the country. The air temperature will be within + 20, + 25 at night, + 32, + 37 degrees in the daytime, in some places in the south up to +39.
Short-term rains with thunderstorms are possible in foothill and mountainous areas.
