In January–June 2021, the average monthly salary before tax of employees of legal entities, excluding small and agriculture businesses, topped 2.971 million soums, or US$ 280 increasing by 16.0% to the last year, the Statistics Committee said in a report.
Average monthly salary includes allowances, remuneration, incentive payments, compensation payments and remuneration for unworked time.
The highest level of average monthly salaries was observed in financial and insurance sector and reached 7.111 million soums, which is 2.4 times higher than the national level, and the lowest - in healthcare and the provision of social services and amounted to 2.049 million soums, or 69.0 % of the average monthly salaries.
