The Senate of Uzbekistan will convene for the seventeenth plenary session on Monday (July 30), the press service of the Senate said in a statement.
At the meeting, the senators are scheduled to review the Ensuring the seismic safety of the population and the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan Bill, the Amendments to the Licensing, authorization and notification procedures Law, the Amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the further improvement of the legal protection of intellectual property objects, the Amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the activities of the Accounts Chamber of the Republic of Uzbekistan and Accession of the Republic of Uzbekistan to the International the Agreement on Olive Oil and Table Olives (Geneva, 9 October 2015) Bill.
In addition, the senators will hear a report from the Cabinet of Ministers on the implementation of the State Program-2021 for the first year-half, information from the Minister of Internal Affairs on the prevention of offenses and the head of the State Committee for Ecology on cutting trees and shrubs that are not included in the state forest fund.
The Senate also plans to discuss enhancing parliamentary oversight over handling complaints from individuals, approve the Model Regulations of the province, district, city councils of People's Deputies and consider a number of other issues.
