A professor from Turkey Ercan Kahya has been appointed rector of the Tashkent Institute of Architecture and Construction (TIAC), the press service of the university said. In this position, he replaced Rashvan Khakimov, who headed the institute since 2016.
Ercan Kahya graduated from the Istanbul Technical University (1984) and New York University Polytechnic Institute (1988). He holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering.
Prior to his current appointment, he worked at the Istanbul Technical University.
