A new departure hall opened at the Tashkent’s international airport. New equipment has been installed in the departure hall, with green and red channels, 12 passenger check-in counters, 6 passport and border control points, Wi-Fi and Duty Free shops, a cafe, mothers’ and children’s room, exit for telescopic ladder and two gates for exiting the buses.
"The start of the second stage of reconstruction of the departure hall is scheduled for October this year, the work is planned to be completed in May 2022," said Rano Juraeva, chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Airports.
Along with this, in the near future, it is planned to open a new VIP-lounge, increase the number of trade, catering, banking and other passenger services at the country's airports, including under the public-private partnership terms.
