Today, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev hosted the Chief executive officer of Air Products. The parties considered the ways to further expand cooperation with Air Products, which is a global leader in its field, to promote high-tech projects in strategic sectors of the economy of Uzbekistan.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated Seyfi Ghasemi on the signing of a purchase agreement of three industrial gas units of the Uzbekistan GTL plant in Kashkadarya province with the attraction of $1 billion in direct investments.
The parties commended the participation of Air Products in another major project - the MTO gas chemical complex in the Bukhara province with investments of at least $700 million.
They also focused on promising green hydrogen projects in Uzbekistan country, where another key partner is the Saudi company ACWA Power.
