A truck hit a 2nd grade girl in the Baysun district of Surkhandarya province, the provincial traffic police said. Reportedly, on March 7, 2025, an 8-year-old girl was crossing the road in front of her school when she was hit by a truck, and died in the hospital.
The chief of the traffic police arrived at the scene. According to him, the pedestrian crossing near the school will be reconstructed by making it convex (raised).
