Man in Sergeli district of Tashkent attacked two people with a knife and set fire in an apartment, the Milliy TV channel's Millar program said today.
On April 7, the suspect came to visit an acquaintance. An argument broke out between them, after which he took a knife from the kitchen and stabbed the owner of the apartment and another guest several times. Then he set fire to the apartment and fled the scene.
The victims were hospitalized at the National Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Care, where their lives were saved.
A criminal case was opened under Attempted intentional murder of two or more persons charge, with the man now arrested.
