Tashkent’s traffic police officers have been serving in a new uniform since December 29, the Interior Ministry said. The uniform is designed for the cold season and is water-proof. Lighter color and reflective elements make officers highly visible at any time of the day.
Officers are also provided with new batons, equipped with a flashlight and a built-in whistle. In stages, all traffic police officers in Uzbekistan will receive a new uniform.
In February of this year, Tashkent traffic police officers were given new uniforms as an experiment.
