Uzbekistan plans to launch new crossover models. The project will be implemented as part of the investment program for 2021-2023. Earlier on December 28 of this year, the President approved the investment program for 2021-2023.
The program says that Auto Motors Asia LLC will launch the production of crossovers, trucks and minibuses at Jizzakh FEZ.
It is not yet known exactly what models will be produced, with design capacity at 27 thousand vehicles per year.
The project cost is about US$ 16.2 million. In 2021, it is planned to disburse investments in the amount of US$ 6 million.
Earlier it was reported that Uzbekistan plans to organize the assembly of Lada and Renault cars.
