By the July 5 decree Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed Muzaffar Saliev as Minister of Housing and Utility Services, the Presidency website announced.
Before, he worked as Deputy Defense Minister where he oversaw the work with staff.
The Ministry of Housing and Utility Services was established by the President’s decree in April. The first Minister Erkin Iskandarov was dismissed from his post "due to his transfer to another post".
At the July 4 government meeting the President pointed to "serious drawbacks" committed by the leadership of the ministry.
