On July 15, the Inter-provincial Cooperation Agreement between the Government of Uzbekistan and the Government of Kazakhstan, signed in Astana on March 23, 2017 during the state visit of the President Uzbekistan Sh.Mirziyoyev to Kazakhstan, came into force.
The document provides for the expansion and development of mutually beneficial cooperation between the provinces of the two countries in the trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian fields, as well as in the agriculture, healthcare, job creation, tourism and environmental protection and etc.
