Next meeting of the International Press Club on political parties was held in Tashkent Wednesday. One of the most interesting topics for discussion was the question on business hours of entertainment venues (restaurants, bars).
Uzbekistan attracts tourists with, among others, its cuisine. However, unfortunately, local cafes, bars and restaurants are allowed to receive guests only until 23:00.
For what reason the business hours of restaurants and other venues can not be pushed back to 1 or 2 AM? This issue was raised before the attending MPs, who promised to study the possibilities of solving this problem.
The issue of extending the business hours of entertainment venues is also being studied by the Committee for Tourism Development together with a number of relevant ministries and departments. This proposal is also included in the tourism development concept that due to be prepared in the near future.
