A 500 room hotel will be built in Chimgan ski resort, it was unveiled during Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s Tashkent province trip on Friday.
A 2 km long cable car near the hotel, expected to be built in the summer 2018, will ensure easy access to the ski slopes.
Kush-Chinor hotel in Bostanlyk district and Amirsoy ski complex will also reportedly be erected in the province. The construction projects were presented to the President.
Mirziyoyev proposed to build energy-efficient leisure and recreation facilities in Parkent district of the province as well.
Chimgan ski resort is located 85 km away from Tashkent in the spurs of Chatkal Range on the height of 1,600 metres (5,249 ft), in the Western Tien Shan mountains, surrounding Tashkent from the East.
