Today, at Uzbek Foreign Ministry was held a meeting with a delegation of the Federation Council of Russia led by Deputy Chairman Ilyas Umakhanov, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
The counterparts reportedly exchanged of views on topical issues on the agenda, in particular the regular exchanges between the legislative bodies of Uzbekistan and Russia, and discussed the preparations for the upcoming meeting of the Uzbekistan-Russia Commission for Inter-Parliamentary Cooperation.
In the meeting was also present the Charge d'Affaires of the Russian Federation Vadim Mitrofanov.
