In the first week of October, the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and Russia will conduct joint tactical exercises at the Jizzakh's Forish training ground, UzA reported.
On Monday morning, a plane with a group of Russian servicemen landed at a military airfield in Tashkent.
The exercises will be conducted as part of the agreements reached during the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Moscow on April 4-5.
In 25 years Uzbekistan and Russia held joint tactical antiterrorist drills on two ocassions.
