The EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, is expected to hold talks with President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on Thursday during her official visit to Uzbekistan, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The EU delegation will also include the EU Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development Neven Mimica and other officials.
The EU officials will attend the EU - Central Asia inter-regional foreign ministers meeting to be held in Samarkand and the Central Asia: One Past and a Common future, Cooperation for Sustainable Development and Mutual Prosperity Conference on November 11.
