Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the Government delegation of Afghanistan, which included the Senior Adviser to the President for economic affairs Houmayoun Qayumi and the Special Representative of the President for development of cooperation with CIS and Russia Mohammed Shakir Korgan, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.
The counterparts reportedly discussed the preparations for the upcoming Uzbek-Afghan summit, including draft bilateral documents.
It is expected that in early December 2017, Afghan President Ashraf Ghani will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan.
