Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed decree appointing Komil Allamjonov as the President’s new press secretary, concurrently - the deputy head of the President’s Executive Office.
Komil Allamjonov, 33, graduated from the Institute of Arts and Culture (2006) and Tashkent University of Economy (2010).
In 2002-2004 he worked in several positions at the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry. In 2004-2005 he was the chief expert and 2005-2013 – the head at press service of the StateTax Committee.
Komil Allamjonov is the founder of AvtoTest, innovative driver-training program, Soliq Info (transl. Tax Info) newspaper, BEM accounting automation software and others.
Allamjonov replaced Asadjon Khodjaev who had held this post from March to August 2017.
