Vice Chairman of the Korean Hospital Association, Professor at Chonnam National University Hospital Taek-Rim Yoon has been appointed adviser to the Uzbek Health Minister, the ministry said.
The posit of adviser was established during the state visit of the Uzbek President to the Republic of Korea on November 22-25.
He took years of medical & clinical trainings in Kurume University School of Medicine in Japan and Johns Hopkins University in the US. He also has actively carried out medical research as a member of various medical societies, which are The Korean Orthopaedic Association, The Korean Hip Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, The Hip Society, Korean Society for Bones and Mineral Research, Japanese Hip Society, Western Pacific Orthopedic Association, ARCO, and Societe Internationale de Chirurgle Orthopaedique at de Traumatologle (SICOT).
Professor Taek-Rim expressed gratitude for the opportunity to share his experience and the high valuation of his work.
