Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today hosted the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia, Jan Bory who presented a copy of his credentials, the ministry said.
The sides reportedly discussed the topical aspects of Uzbek-Slovak ties in the political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other fields.
The sides stressed at the meeting that the two countries have significant potential for increasing trade turnover, and expressed readiness to promote contacts between businesses of Uzbekistan and Slovakia.
The sides also touched upon some international and regional problems.
