The IT and Communications Development Ministry lifted the ban on recording (photography and video) on the Tashkent Tower, the ministry said.

"From today, visitors can take their phones, tablets, laptops and cameras up to the to the tower’s observation deck and restaurant," an employee of the tower said.

The move is part of the measures of the President’s recent Measures to Boost Tourists Inflow Decree, which allowed photography and filming in public places and buildings without any sort of restrictions.

There is no additional fee for photography and filming video. The tower entrance fee is 25,000 soums for Uzbek citizens and 40,000 for foreign citizens. Visitors must provide a passport or other document to support identity.
