Lieutenant-colonel Kadirov Doniyor Bakhtiyorovich has appointed as the chief of the Main Office for Combating Terrorism and Extremism under the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry said in a statement.
Lieutenant-Colonel Ahadov Zokirjon Tahirovich became the first deputy.
The office was established by a Presidential decree in April last year instead of the Main Office of Criminal Investigation and the Fight against Terrorism (from which the Main Office of Criminal Investigation was also separated).
