Uzbek Ambassador to China Baktiyor Saidov, who has been holding this post since last summer, has been concurrently appointed as Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Mongolia with residence in Beijing.
Ambassador Baktiyor Saidov presented his credentials to the President of Mongolia Wednesday, Khaltmaagiin Battulga, the Uzbek embassy in China said.
The sides reportedly discussed topical issues of Uzbek-Mongolian ties in the political, trade-economic, cultural-humanitarian and other fields and expressed mutual interest in deepening bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
