Uzbekistan-Turkmenistan political consultations took place in Ashgabat between the foreign ministries during which were discussed the draft program and agenda of the upcoming state visit of the Turkmen leader to Uzbekistan.
The sides stressed that both countries are carefully preparing for the upcoming Uzbek-Turkmen summit, which will become a major bilateral event and elevate the friendly bilateral ties to new level.
At the consiltations, the sides also considered the issues of cooperation within multilateral organizations and exchanged views on international and regional issues.
