Sherzod Davlyatovich Kudbiev, who worked as the mayor of Tashkent’s Mirzo-Ulugbek District as of September 2016, has been appointed Minister of Employment and Labor Relations replacing Aktam Khaitov who was appointed as interim chairman of the Council of Farmers and Land Owners, the ministry said.
Sherzod Kudbiev, 37, graduated from the Fergana Polytechnic Institute (department of- finances and credit).
Prior to this, he served as deputy chief of the Consolidated Information and Analytical Department of the Cabinet of Ministers on macroeconomic development, structural reforms, attraction of foreign investments and integrated development of territories.
Earlier in 2012-2015 he held the post of director of the Republican Scientific Employment Center, Labor Protection and Social Protection under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection (now the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations).
In 2010-2012 he worked as the lead and main expert of the same department, in 2007-2010 he held various positions in the Ministry of Labor Protection.
