Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov today received the newly appointed Ambassador of Colombia with stationed in Moscow Alfonso López Caballero, the Ministry said in a statement.
After a brief ceremony of presenting credentials, the sides reportedly stressed that Uzbekistan and Colombia remain promising partners for each other and are interested in advancing ties in the political, trade-economic, investment and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
At the meeting, proposals were made to hold regular political consultations and step up contacts between businesses.
