Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan last evening arrived in Uzbekistan on a state visit. According to UzA at the Islam Karimov airport the Turkish leader was welcomed by the Uzbek PM Aripov.
Today at Kuksaroy residence will be held the talks between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The counterparts are expected to discuss the ways to further step up multifaceted cooperation, consolidating and developing new promising trends in bilateral ties, focusing on regional and international agenda, including issues of countering global and regional challenges and threats.
The Turkish President will the joint meeting of the Uzbek Parliamnet. The two leaders will also attend the joint business forum of executives of banks and companies of Uzbekistan and Turkey.
Following the Uzbekistan – Turkey summit, the two leaders will sign the Joint Statement and oversee the signing of a number of various area interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental accords, as well as a number of investment deals.
The Turkish delegation is scheduled to visit Bukhara on May 1.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited Turkey on a state visit in October last year.
