The Presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkey arrived in Bukhara city today, where they visited the city sights Poi Kalyan complex, the Presidential press service said. The two leaders accompanied by the first ladies visited the Poi Kalyan complex and the Kalyan mosque, and also familiarized themselves with the activities of the Islamic school in Mir Arab madrasah.
Recep Tayyip Erdoğan visited an exhibition of gold-embroidered, jewelry, carpet weaving, embroidery and pottery crafts organized in the historical part of Bukhara.
Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan also visited the Ark fortress and Lyabi Khauz complex.
This marked the end of the visit of the Turkish President to Uzbekistan. From the Bukhara International Airport President Erdoğan departed for Korea Republic visit.
