Uzbek Ministry of Employment and Labor and the Turkish Ministry of Labor and Social Security signed an agreement on protection of the rights of migrant workers and members of their families of the two countries, the Uzbek Ministry of Labor reported.
According to the document, migrant workers can work in the territory of the host country on the basis of contracts employers entered into in accordance with the hosting country’s laws.
The parties will also contribute in every way to the regulation of migration flows and cooperate to curb illegal labor in their respective countries.
