The newly appointed Uzbek Ambassador to Malaysia Ravshan Usmanov today left Tashkent for Kuala Lumpur, the Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
Earlier, Ravshan Usmanov, 40, a graduate of the University of Birmingham and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy, since April 2017 served as first deputy chairman of the Tourism Development Committee.
Before that he was the Ambassador to France and concurrently in Italy and Portugal, and also headed the Foreign Ministry's Department for cooperation with Europe and NATO.
