The Uzbek Ministry of Internal Affairs has placed Gafur-Arslanbek Rakhimov to its most wanted list. The president of the International Boxing Association (AIBA) is suspected of extortion, money laundering and forgery of documents.
Gafur-Arslanbek Rakhimov, 66, was in 2013 placed on the Interpol's most wanted list, however in 2016 his name was removed from the list.
In addition, Rakhimov’s wife Lola Rakhimova is also wanted by the Uzbek police. She is also suspected of extortion, money laundering and forgery of documents.
