Starting from July 15, online registration of foreign citizens through the E-mehmon system (transl. e-guest) at www.emehmon.uz has launched in Uzbekistan. As reported earlier, by the May 29 Government’s decree, which took effect immediately, foreign nationals staying in Uzbekistan hotels, medical institutions and other residences shall no longer be held liable for violation of temporary registration rules.
Liability for tourist registration, except for foreigners on a self-guided journey, shall be borne by the inviting or receiving parties (tour operators, hotels, medical institutions, residential premises and etc.).
For registration visitors need to sign up, enter details, fill out the Arrival Guest List in the Lists menu and pay the tourist fee by a bank card. The same can be done through the mobile app Emehmon (for the time being available on Android).
