The Uzbek Ministry of Public Education is inviting foreign investors to open private schools in the country, the ministry said.

The private schools are to introduce new teaching methods and curricula for IT, natural sciences and foreign languages.

The ministry is preparing draft legal acts that will facilitate investment in into private schools, ensure protection and state support for investors .

"We are convinced that the greater number of private schools and competition among them will boost the education system ," said Minister Sherzod Shermatov. "We invite all international schools to implement joint projects to provide high quality education for our children."
