Saidakbarhon Akbarov, 23, has been appointed as acting vice-chairman of the Tourism Development Committee, the committee said.
The new deputy minister is the fourth-year student at the Business Administration department of the Westminster University in Tashkent.
In 2013-2018, he managed a network of educational centers, and also worked on the development of online programs, with which he made a bid for a Islamic Development Bank’s grant.
Saidakbarhon Akbarov will reportedly be in charge of innovation, youth and smart tourism.
