The Uzbek-Israeli high technologies faculty will be established under the National University of Uzbekistan (NUU), the Higher Education Ministry said.

The faculty will offer undergraduate, graduate, post-graduate programs in the field of engineering mathematics, computer science, technological management, with focus put to computer modeling and experimental research. Classes will be given in Uzbek, Russian and English languages. This year, about 100 students are expected to be admitted to the university.

The best teachers and doctors of sciences of the NUU and Holon Institute of Technology (HIT) will be invited, with successful students to be sent for short-term studies in Israel.
