Uzbek Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov yesterday hosted the Indian Foreign Minister Mobashar Jawed Akbar, the Uzbek Foreign Ministry said.

The counterparts reportedly discussed the preparations for the upcoming visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to India and the agenda of the future talks with the Indian leadership.

The ministers noted that Uzbekistan and India were working together on the subkect of the Uzbek-Indian summit.

Mobashar Jawed Akbar, who attended and spoke at the 5th session of the India-Central Asia Dialogue, held on September 13-14, 2018 in Samarkand, stressed that holding this kind of events have special significance ahead of important bilateral events.
