Komil Allamjonov has been sacked as deputy chief of the presidential administration — press secretary to the President of Uzbekistan, a source in the presidential administration said, with reasons for firing not known.

Komil Allamjonov was appointed as the press secretary and deputy chief of the Shavkat Mirziyoyev's administration in December last year.

Komil Allamjonov, 34, graduated from the Institute of Arts and Culture (2006) and Tashkent State University of Economics (2010).

In 2005-2009 he was the acting chief of the press service of the Tax Committee, in 2009-2013 - chief of the press service - press secretary to the chairman of the Tax Committee. He is the founder of Avtotest Driving School, Soliq Info (the tax newspaper), BEM accounting software and other projects.
