The son of the late president Islam Karimov from his first marriage – Pyotr Karimov appealed to the Tver Court of Moscow for the recovery of money due from his now former employer.
According to Izvestia, the man occupied a senior position for several years at Uzbekistan Airways, but some time after his father’s death, he was allegedly sacked and was not paid the “compensation in lieu of notice”.
The man formulated his claim as follows: “labor disputes regarding the recovery of unpaid wages”. No other details are yet disclosed.
