For the first time in 15 years, Uzbekistan has prepared an official document for submission to the WTO member countries, which is the basis for considering the application for the country's accession to the WTO.
The DG Azavedo expressed full support for Uzbekistan’s stepping up of the WTO accession process. He assured that the representatives of the secretariat will provide all necessary assistance and support to Uzbekistan in this process, including holding the next meeting of the working group on Uzbekistan’s accession to the WTO in 2019.
