Cooperation Action Plan between the Academy of the Armed Forces of Uzbekistan and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) was signed on August 6, the Ministry of Defense said.
The signing took place during the meeting of the Deputy Defense Minister Azizbek Ikramov with the OSCE projects Coordinator in Uzbekistan, John McGregor.
“The two-year project is mainly aimed at military education,” said John McGregor. - Uzbek сadets will regularly get acquainted with foreign best practices. A major region security seminar is expected in October, and a training on cybersecurity seminar in December. ”
The parties also reportedly discussed the state the ways to expand bilateral cooperation.
