The Chairman of the State Duma Vyacheslav Volodin will pay an official visit to Uzbekistan on September 16 and is expected to be hosted by the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In addition, negotiations are planned with the speakers of the chambers of the Uzbek Parliament - the speaker of the Legislative Chamber (lower house) Nurdinjon Ismoilov and the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbaeva, with the signing of the Agreement of Cooperation between the lower house of the parliament of Uzbekistan and the State Duma.
The Russian delegation also includes: Chairman of the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots Leonid Kalashnikov, Chairman of the Committee on Defense Vladimir Shamanov.
