The total market capitalization of the Toshkent Stock Exchange as of November 1 topped 52.55 trillion soums, or US$ 5 billion, the Capital Market Development Agency reported.
421.1 billion soums, or US$ 40 million worth of 30,489 transactions with securities of 96 companies were recorded at Toshkent SE in 10 months of 2020, which is by 20.5% more in number of transactions and by 12% in monetary volume.
In 10 months of 2020, securities of 41 joint-stock companies were included in the quotation list of the stock exchange, while only 23 issuers were included in the same period of 2019. As of the end of October 2020, there are securities of 133 joint-stock companies on the stock exchange trading floor, which is by 25% more than a year earlier.
