The Uzbek Deputy PM Aziz Abdukhakimov met with the Belarussian Ambassador to Uzbekistan Leonid Marynich on Tuesday. The parties discussed the ways to promote tourism, as well as attracting Belarusian companies in the construction of eco-houses in Uzbekistan, in particular in Bustonliq and Zomin districts (Tashkent and Jizzakh province), the State Tourism Development Committee said.
An intergovernmental agreement on promoting of mutual tourism is now being developed on the outcomes of the negotiations. deal agreement is planned to be signed within the framework of the intergovernmental commission on December 16-18 this year.
The agreement will be aimed at mutual promotion of tourism, attracting tourists from Belarus to Uzbekistan and from Uzbekistan to Belarus. Particular emphasis will be placed on the development of ski resorts in Uzbekistan, as well as tourism projects in Uzbekistan.
