A female tourist from Uzbekistan was found dead in a hotel in Seshadripuram, Bangaluru, India. As per the police, the woman was smothered to death in her hotel room. The woman was identified as Zarina. She had checked into the hotel on March, the Times Now said.
According to the source, the hotel staff attempted to make contact with Zarina in her second-floor room on Wednesday at around 4:30 PM.
After receiving no response, they used a master key to enter the room to find her dead. The hotel manager then filed a complaint, leading to authorities opening an investigation into the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death.
A certain Rahul Kumar had booked a room for Zarina till March 16.
Police also searched the room for possible evidence. He began to check the video camera recordings and the guest list to identify the persons who had entered the room. The investigation into the case is ongoing.
