An event dedicated to Uzbekistan’s investment and tourism potential took place in Nagoya in cooperation with Nagoya City Hall, Dunyo said.
Makio Yamada, director of the international cooperation department of the mayor's office, Hiroyuki Ito, the honorary consul of Uzbekistan in Nagoya, representatives of Asiana Airlines representative office in Nagoya attended the event.
During the presentation on Uzbekistan’s tourism potential, the embassy presented information about the development of new tourism destinations and tourism contents, implementation of tourism projects, creation of facilities for foreign tourists.
In addition, the participants of the event were shown a presentation about the tourism potential of the country's historical cities, hotels erected in recent years based on world standards, internal transport infrastructure, and restaurants.
Taking into account the ease of reach of Uzbekistan from Nagoya through Incheon International Airport of the Republic of Korea, Asiana Airlines representative office in Nagoya provided information about the flight schedules.
At the end of the event, talks were organized with representatives of tourism companies of Nagoya Prefecture, and they agreed to increase the tourists flow from this region to Uzbekistan and widely promote the "Uzbekistan tourism brand".
